CNPC recently issued the Implementation Plan for Accelerating Green Development and Promoting the Building of a Beautiful China (hereinafter referred to as the “Implementation Plan”). The Implementation Plan outlines 22 specific measures across five key areas, namely accelerating the transition to green development, intensifying pollution prevention and control, ensuring ecological and environmental security, working actively and prudently toward the goals of carbon peaking and neutrality, and strengthening the foundation for environmental protection and carbon reduction efforts. Such measures include promoting the green and low-carbon transition of industrial structures, as well as enhancing ecological protection and soil and water conservation. With this Implementation Plan, CNPC strives to comprehensively advance its high-quality development and ecological protection, and contribute its due share to the building of a beautiful China.
